Rental Policies

Rental Policies with Aguila Motos for renting a Motorcycle in Colombia:

1. Both the rental fee and deposit are charged in advance the day we handover the motorbike.
2. For each rental day, you will have 24 hours to use the motorcycle. Please consider our office hours for pick-up and return.
3. Aguila Motos guarantees your reservation for up to 2 hours after the agreed time. After this period, additional charges can be applied or your reservation could even be canceled.
4. All motorcycles are delivered clean and with a full tank and must be returned in the same conditions (see additional costs for more details).
5. To confirm your booking you will be asked to make a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the rental fee.
6. If your security-deposit was made by CREDIT CARD, it will be released upon the return of the motorcycle and may take a few days until it is entirely cancelled.
7. If the deposit was made in CASH, $600,000 COP will be retained for 8 days, the difference will be refunded upon return of the motorcycle.
8. If the deposit is made via PAYPAL, $160 USD will be retained for 8 days, and the difference will be refunded upon return of your motorbike.
9. The rental period begins when the motorcycle is handed over.
10. No refunds are offered for voluntary early returns by the customer.
11. Maintenance for our motorcycles are scheduled every 2,000 km and we would appreciate your cooperation if needed.
12. Our insurance policy does not cover partial losses such as scratches, mirrors, or sliders. The customer is responsible for any minor damage incurred during the rental period.
13. We do not cover tire damage or flat tires but will happily assist you when needed.
14. A 5% admin fee will be applied to the total transaction if payment is made via debit or credit card.

Condiciones para rentar una moto en Colombia:

1. El alquiler y el depósito se cobran anticipadamente.
2. Por cada día de alquiler tendrás 24 horas para poder usar la motocicleta, ten en cuenta nuestros horarios de atención para la entrega y devolución.
3. Aguila Motos garantiza la reserva hasta por 2 Horas despues del la fecha y hora acordada en el formulario de reserva, despues de este plazo el costo adicional será por hora teniendo en cuenta la motocicleta o se dará por cancelada la reserva.
4. Todas las motocicletas se entregan limpias y con el tanque lleno, así mismo se deben regresar. 
5. Para reservar, verifica la disponibilidad y te enviaremos un enlace para pagar un porcentaje (10%) del alquiler (dinero no reembolsable en caso de cancelación).
6. Si el depósito se hace con TARJETA DE CRÉDITO será liberado en el momento de la devolución de la moto y este se verá reflejado en el tiempo que determine el banco.
7. Si el deposito se hace en EFECTIVO se van a retener $600.000 COP del total del deposito durante 8 días y el resto del deposito se reembolsará en el momento de la devolución.
8. Si el deposito se hace por medio de PAYPAL se van a retener $160 USD del total del deposito durante 8 días y el resto del deposito se reembolsará en el momento de la devolución.
9. Se aplicará un cargo adicional a la tarifa por el uso de motocicletas durante el horario de restricción por PICO Y PLACA, únicamente en aquellas ciudades donde esta medida esté en vigor.
10. El tiempo de alquiler inicia justo en el momento de la entrega de la moto.
11. El servicio de alquiler de motos no admite reembolsos en caso de devolución anticipada voluntaria por parte del cliente.
12. Los servicios de mantenimiento de nuestras motocicletas se programan cada 2.000km en los talleres oficiales de la marca, estos mantenimientos los asume Aguila Motos y se debe traer el soporte a la oficina para que sea reembolsado.
13. La póliza todo riesgo no cubre perdidas parciales como rayaduras, espejos o sliders, el cliente se debe hacer cargo de los daños menores que se puedan generar durante el tiempo de alquiler.
14. No cubrimos daños o pinchazos de las llantas. (Flat tires)
15. Se aplicará un cargo administrativo del 5% sobre el total de la transacción en caso de realizar el pago mediante tarjetas debito o crédito.
